Happy Birthday, Peanut!
Well, there are many cool things that happen on this date. It's the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, marking the official start of Summer here in the U.S. In 1965, The Byrds released "Mr. Tambourine Man." And in 2003, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" was released.
But MOST importantly - IT'S ALLIE'S THIRD BIRTHDAY!!!
Yes, that's right, the peanut turns three today, and it's really quite amazing to think about. Mainly, I mean I'm surprised she made it to three! JUST KIDDING!A couple of weeks ago, the same weekend we had Nate's Christening, we also had a birthday celebration for Sam, Allie and Great Grandma Chambers. The picture above was taken during that weekend. It was great to have Jeaux, Michelle and Marleigh come all the way from Oklahoma to help us celebrate, and a good, er INCREDIBLE time was had by all! [In case you didn't get that: the theme of Allie's birthday was The Incredibles.]
Anyway, Happy Birthday, my peanut! Thanks for making me glad and proud to be a papa every day of my life!

Battlefield 2 was shipped to stores on the 21st as well.
