Rest In Peace: Don Adams
"Missed it by THAT much."
"Would you believe..."
"Sorry about that, chief."
"That's the second biggest [insert item here] I ever saw."
"Alright, Chumley." (remember Tennessee Tuxedo?)
"Go Go Gadget Helicopter!"
All these are, sadly, phrases that we'll never hear live again...not that most of them have been said in many years, but the man behind those lines, Don Adams, passed away yesterday at the ripe old age of 82 due to a lung infection.
If you've never seen Get Smart!, I highly suggest running out to your local video store and demanding that they give it to you. Heck, I don't even know if they have Get Smart! on video yet, but I assure you they will soon if they don't already.
Don was an amazing comedic actor, well respected, and will be missed.
I'll be going into the Cone of Silence now to grieve.
