Today is the home opener of the Avalanche's 10th season.
Total number of goals scored tonight: 10
Final score: 7-3...what a GREAT game.
Marek Svatos got a hat trick as we beat the Western Conference champs from last year...er, the year before.
I forgot how cool some goals can truly be. Things like one-timers and wrap-arounds. What a fun game to watch, especially after finding out it was being broadcast in HD. Awesome stuff.
