Allie's driving...get off the sidewalks!!!
No, I'm SERIOUS!!!
It's the only place she can drive this thing right now, apart from the backyard and MAYBE the front yard, if she's really careful not to hit the tree or mom's rose bush.
So Delphine, the queen of Craig's List and all things bargains, found the listing on CR and promptly called the family that used to own it. They asked a fair price and Delphine went and picked it up.
We charged it up for a bit, and then let her try it out. At first, it was a bit intimidating, what with the jerking motion and all, but she got used to it and is now a pro at going forwards, backwards and making sure she doesn't run over her brother or the cats.
I *think* this is the last of the birthday celebrations this year, but knowing her, she'll stretch it out as long as she can.
